The Millbrook Heritage & Arts Hub might be small, but it’s full of personality and pride. Sitting at the heart of its village community, the hub was set up by volunteers who wanted to celebrate Millbrook’s industrial past and creative present.
Inside you’ll find a mix of local history displays, workshops and art exhibitions, often featuring work by emerging and self-taught artists. The hub regularly runs creative writing groups, photography sessions and seasonal craft fairs.
What makes it special is its openness, everyone is welcome, from local families to visiting creatives. LGBTQ+ residents and artists have found the space particularly supportive, with inclusive arts sessions and collaborations around identity and memory.
The hub’s small cafe offers tea, coffee and homemade bakes, while the volunteers are always up for a chat about local history. It’s not a grand museum, but something better, a space created and loved by the people it serves.
