Stockport Pride

Stockport Pride brings the borough together each summer at the historic Market Place. The event features a community parade accessible to walkers and wheelchair users, ending at the main site. Live music, drag and local performers take to the stage throughout the day. There are dedicated family and quiet spaces to make the celebration welcoming for all ages. Community groups, charities and local businesses host stalls across the site. Stockport Pride emphasises accessibility and sustainability in its operations. The 2025 festival took place on Sunday 1 June from 11am to 7pm. Thousands attended to celebrate equality, visibility and Stockport’s LGBTQ+ community. Organisers recruit volunteers year‑round to help deliver the day. Future dates are announced on the website and social channels once confirmed.
