Rochdale in Rainbows is the partnership that delivers Pride activity across the borough. It programmes a series of cultural and community events in the run‑up to the main celebration. Past line‑ups have included theatre, music, drag, workshops and LGBT+ history sessions. The main event brings a parade and stage activity to the town‑hall area. The 2025 celebration returned on Sunday 22 June with a bigger programme. The Esplanade outside the renovated Town Hall became the focal point. Community organisations and local services hosted information and activity stalls. Events span free and ticketed options to suit different audiences. The festival grows through collaborations with arts and civic partners. Future dates will be announced on council and Visit Rochdale listings.
