Bolton Pride has grown since its 2015 launch into a major borough celebration. Its slogan champions love for Bolton while opposing homophobia and hate crime. The programme typically features a Saturday parade through the town. Stages host local artists, drag performers and community acts across the weekend. Businesses and venues in the town centre run Pride‑themed activity. Organisers emphasise partnership working to improve cohesion and safety. The 2025 festival celebrated the event’s 10‑year milestone across 24–25 May. Parade assembly was at the University of Bolton with a route through central streets.
